How to // Tie dyeing with textile medium and posterpaint

After knitting and weaving, I thought it to be fun to dive into tie dyeing. Most tie dye tutorials use a tie dye kit with all the necessary supplies. However I don’t like buying new supplies and/or equipment each time I find a new amusement. Most times I can’t wait. I just want to start as quick as possible. So I decided to use supplies I already had.

What I used // Tie dyeing with textile medium and posterpaint

I have done a lot of textile dyeing with textile medium and posterpaint. This time I made a rather watery mixture. It had to be fluid enough so it would soak through the fabric.
For the fabric I used an old whitish 100% cotton bed sheet. To bind the fabrics I used rubber bands and threads.
