Handmade textile products // Cornflower dress

I needed a unique dress for a special ocassion. When I was about to create the dress I noticed that the fabric I planned to use, appeared to be sheer.

Cornflower blue

Luckily I know how to paint fabric ;)
I have always loved the blueish purple colour of cornflowers. That is why I created a dress with plaids and stripes in conflower blue.
Because I was out of posterpaint – which I normally use to paint fabrics -, I mixed Amsterdam acrylic paint (colours King’s Blue 517 and Quinacridonerose light 385) with Creall textile medium to handpaint the dress.
